Hi Yvonne, I never knew I could fall in love so fast as I have with this little dog. His name went from Redbud to Rusty (to match both his hair and mine) to his final name of Spike (so nobody will mess with a tough-sounding dog). ........................ Spike went to the vet this morning and was given a clean bill of health. He is scheduled for surgery (dew claws, micro chip and neutered) next Tuesday. Chelsea wags her tail when she sees Spike and he is very submissive to her (rolls over and exposes his belly). It was so nice meeting you, Yvonne and your wonderful dogs. Take care, Elaine |

Hi Yvonne! We are so enjoying the new puppy who we have decided to name Lucy. She is a doll. She perked right up as soon as we were home and she was comfortable. Everyone (Mom, Brother and Sis-in-Law) love her! As do we.
She did pretty good at night. We were a bit concerned at first, she didn't want to eat or drink. We were able to get her to eat by smashing the pellets and mixing with warm water. She is really only taking water from our finger, but seems to be doing a little better today. She ate pretty good this morning and we were able to get her to drink about a tablespoon of water. She had two bowel movements and several pees over the last 24 hours. So it's looking much better. I am still a little interested about what you think about the food and water though. She doesn't seem to be taking enough water for my liking I guess. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.
Hope you enjoy the pictures, we will send you updates! Thanks again, it was a great PLEASURE to meet you!

Yvonne - Hello! Haven't written in awhile, sorry. Belle and Chip are both amazing. They are such a joy to have and so much fun to watch. While Belle definately rules the house - Chip tries to assert himself - usually to no avail! They love to run around and play together and are best friends.
We did discover that Chip is a warm weather pup. He refused to go outside in the cold temps - Belle however loves to romp in the snow for short periods of time. They both like to cuddle up on cold nights tho! It will be interesting to see how Chip does when we finally get some warm days...we know that Belle will stay outside and lounge in the sun for hours. Thank you so much for the opportunity to own not one, but two such bundles of joy!!
I'll send some pictures of the soon--

Hi Yvonne, Little Chico is doing great! He got sick once on the drive home and pooped. So when we got home I washed his underside and paws in the sink. He seemed really lethargic, so on the way home I was trying to look up Hypoglycemia in the books I had brought, but there was nothing in there about it! I remembered what you had said when we brought my mom's dog home. So when we got home I tried to give him some food, but he just drooped his head. So I gave him about 1 Tbsp. of low-fat milk, and he perked up a bit. Then he had a few pieces of the kibble soaked in water and milk. I'm laying off the milk now though, I don't want to upset his tummy.
Thank you for this info., it's really useful!
He's just such a little love, he's really fitting into our family, and he's so cute and fun! I'll send pictures when I can.
Thank you again. You really have the cutest pups! I'm so happy with him!
Take care, Julie |

Hey
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, school has been keeping us busy. The only time I am on the computer is to write a paper so far. The puppy's name is Henry, and so far he is very well behaved and just a joy to have around the house. He took right away to crate training, and loves to go into the crate when he knows we need to go to school. Henry has the best internal clock, I swear he knows when we are leaving for school and when we get home. He has an appointment for his last set of shots next week, and the vet said that he is in great health. Thanks again for such a snuggle-bug.

Happy New Year, wishing you the best of health. The boys are out of the cage now, clean and good. They stay in the kitchen and sometimes in the living room, they are clean on the papers...they are such darlings, I am in love...thanks so much for those sweet, sweet pumpkins.

Hello Yv onne!
We finally got Bodhi registered with the AKC. Thank you so much for all of your assistance with that. Here are some pictures of Bodhi's first trip to the beach, last weekend. He is doing so well. Oh, he is just the cutest little guy in the world. It's the best feeling in the world to be greeted by him at the end of a long day! He's completely paper trained, and he knows "down" now.
Bodhi's favorite place to be is at home, but he walks very well on his leash, and after ten minutes or so, he warms up to anyone and everyone. He doesn't seem too fond of other dogs though, so we're starting his training classes in mid-January after he gets neutered.
Bodhi's still a smoocher and his favorite toy is the (now disemboweled) squeaky bunny that you gave us. Do you know which company makes that toy? We'd love to get him a new one but the tag is long gone. It seems to last longer than other squeaky toys.
I hope you have a magical Christmas and a very nice New Year!

Hi Yvonne, I just wanted to let you know that the puppy is doing great. I took him to the vet today and he got his shots. The vet says he looks great, the only thing she is worried about is that his testicles have not dropped (so we have to keep an eye on that) otherwise he is very healthy. He's a crier tho - he likes to scream - at the vet today he had the whole office crew feeling bad for him (he is dramatic). I saw that you dropped the prices on the puppies -let me know if you decide to come down more on the cream one, if so I might be interested. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!! Ana

Hello.
I was writing because I adopted Brutus (#DL014) I have not written to let you know how he is doing. It's been over 2 years since I adopted him. He is a great dog. He is still just as playful & energetic! His favorite game is to play with his frisbee. We have moved out of California to Ohio where I am originally from and I recently got married. Brutus and his new dad are best friends and have been buddies since the day they met.
Brutus is adjusting to the cold winters here. He loves his sweaters and he has a heated bed to cuddle up in when he is cold. I will be trying to send you pictures in the near future. I just wanted to say hi and that Brutus is doing well.
Sincerely, Brianne Tucker

Hello Yvonne!
I thought I would give you a quick update. Bodhi is doing wonderfully! He's such a good boy and we're already madly in love with the little guy! He did get sick to his tummy on the car ride home, and we were all relieved when we arrived home. He likes his new digs and even slept in his crate from 11pm-4am, right next to me. We're both very impressed with how well paper-trained he is. He's only had two accidents, but we pretend they never happen and then make a big party when he goes potty on the paper! What kind of treats did you give him when he did that? He doesn't seem to like the soft, all natural chicken ones we bought.
He truly loves to give kisses and we were happily surprised by how well bonded he was to me by the first day! He is busy bonding with Chris today.
Bodhi is eating, but taking very little water. Maybe I am just not used to how little water he actually needs? He has his first vet appt. tomorrow, and we will take the vaccination sheet with us, as well as a list of questions. I do have another question for you - which vaccination did you say could be harmful to Chihuahuas? Also I realized we ran off with the contract! I'll read and sign and send ASAP.
We just love our Bodhi and we are so impressed and happy with him! With full hearts, we thank you so very much for providing such a wonderful addition to our family!!
Sincerely, Your happy customers, Chris and Grace Rawlins |

Hello, I purchased a puppy from you way back in January/February (I think #63). I have attached a photo of what he looks like today. I love him and he is perfect! Thanks again, Amanda
|

We just got home. He was pretty quiet and reserved throughout the drive home, and did throw up after about the first hour. We thought he may be depressed or sad, and maybe he was, but once we hit our motel room about 3 hours away, he acclimated to it immediately and was jumping around and playing after about twenty minutes.
We got him home and he just got out of the bath. He didn't like it too much, but now he's glad he's out. He's warming up to both of us, and is getting used to my place. Looks like we'll all be happy together. We'll be in touch.
Thanks.

Hi Yvonne,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on the pup.
Turned out that Kaitlyn was not mature or responsible enough for the pup. I quickly changed his name (within the 1st week home) to "Caesar". This is a more befitting name for such a brave strong itsy bitsy boy. :-) AND of course, the doggie is mine. We all love him. He was born on April 2nd. Our Vet said that Chi's are full grown at about 5 months. What say you?
Caesar weighs 3#2oz today. Any "guesstimates" on what he will weigh full grown? I would really like your opinion. I ordered an entire wardrobe for him for fall & winter. Heck, that's half the fun of owning a Chi :oD !! I will send a pix when time allows. Besides having the sweetest and cutest personality in the world, he is absolutely gorgeous!
Many thanks for our latest Blessing.
Hugs, Cynthia
(Breeder's note: Chihuahuas are not fully mature until about 18 months of age...... Also, in the message above Kaitlyn is their 15 year old daughter,) |

Yvonne, I purchased my first pup from you in 2004, his name is Lelo. His mom/ pop was Mellow Honey and Lord Exeter. I'm thinking of getting a female. I would prefer from the same parents, but if not, I will consider from another litter. I would like a girl. What do you have coming up and the cost? Waiting to hear from you. I live out in Maryland and I had a good working relationship with you. My vet thinks I should get my next puppy from the same kennel. - Jaqueline

Hi Yvonne, just letting you know Pocket is doing well, I love her so much, I did not know how much she could bring to my life, and I thank you for that. I love her so much, and again thank you, Gloria

Hey there ~ been meaning to send you a photo of Coco ~ she is doing so great ~ already has been to San Diego and back with us. I can't believe how well she is doing with the girls!! She is a little firecracker~you should see how fast she can fly up and down the stairs. Anyway, hope you are well ~ Lisa |

Hi Yvonne, I wanted to update you on how Marissa is doing. She is now 15 weeks old or 3 1/2 months and she weighs a little over 3 pounds. Her fluffly downy fur is looking silky and shiny. She is very smart. She has the peeing in the litterbox down very well with some accidents and she still poops outside the litterbox. Just a few more months and I think she will have it all down pat. I think she bonded with me very nicely. It also helped that I slept with her and the other Chihuahua that we have, the first two weeks. Marissa comes when I call her name very nicely. I just love her very much. I will keep her for the next 15-20 years. I couldn't have asked for a better puppy. I'll send you some pictures as soon as I can develope them.
Thank you, Anita Chavez |

Hey Yvonne. This is Susan. If you remember I got my little white Prince from you a few weeks back. Just to let you know everything is going great. Surprisingly my dad came around, and started to love the puppy a whole lot. My mom really loves him too. She sees him as another one of her kids. Just wanted to thank you for everything. And here are a few pictures,
- Susan
(Breeder's Note: You can see the pictures on the Owners' Gallery page, Prince is with the Nazari family in Pinole, CA.). |

Hi Yvonne,
Sorry I haven't written until now. It was a long drive home for us that night but all went well. He adjusted to his new home much quicker than I thought he would and he is a very happy and playful pup. My other little guy "tolerated" him in the beginning but they have now become fast friends. The vet gave him a clean bill of health and told me I had a very "well fed" puppy. LOL I am sending a few pictures for you, he absolutely loves the toy you sent home with him. Housebreaking is a bit harder than I remember with my first Chihuahua but it is SLOWLY coming along. Anyway, I will send you updated pictures over the next few months. Thanks again for all of your help and information.
Lisa
PS: I named him Chesney. |

Hi Yvonne, I am getting ready for the drive back to Montreal. We will be leaving in about a half hour. The 2 boys were really nervous, I can just understand, they did not know what will be happening this time, another plane? another kennel? another pet safe?...they are afraid. Anyway I put both of them in the hotel bathroom, with food, blanket, newspapers and water. They had the baby food Gerber beef and broth.. they loved it. They don't really touch the Eukanuba food. In the middle of the night I went to check on them, of course Pride was growling at me a little, he was also protecting his brother. I slowly touched him very delicately, and then again, and again until he trusted me, and then I touched his brother, while he was watching me, then I took him in my arms, then Dart, then I brought them with me in bed! They slept in the bed with us. This morning they had baby food and they look less nervous, but they are still in the bathroom, I will let them come to me slowly at their own pace. I love them both, they are so tiny and so so cute..I am almost afraid to hurt them when I touch them, thanks for so beautiful babies..I will talk with you when I am home..we still need to drive another 6 hours..yes 6 hours..but then it is over. Roxanne

Hi Yvonne, Pocket is doing well, still getting a little sick when she plays too hard. She eats like a little horse, drinks well, plays too hard and sleeps well,I just love her to death, she is my dog, she loves my husband but she has really bonded with me, everyone at work wants to take her home, I have given your email to a few people, they are or will be looking in the future. How is the dna testing going? I really want to have her registered, let me know and thank you for my baby. Gloria |

Hi Yvonne,
Last night went perfect. I put her in her crate and I slept next to her on the floor in the dining room with the other dogs. She whined until I rested my hand in there then I fell asleep. After two hours she woke up and I put her in the litterbox and she went pee and I fed her a little, then put her back in the crate. After another 2 1/2 hours she woke up and I put her in the litterbox and she pooped, she drank some water and I put her in the crate. She didn't whine and went right to sleep. Then early this morning I put her in the litterbox and she peed, then to my surprise she walked around a bit then she went into the litterbox herself and peed. I sit there with her. She even looks up and comes when we call her name. She is so smart and looks so healthy. I'm really happy with her.
I'll send some pictures when I take some and develop them.
She will be spoiled and well loved.
Thank you, Anita |

Hi Yvonne! How are you? Kim and I wanted to send a note to say hi and also to update you on the pups. We decided to send you some pictures from our first actual vacation as a "family". We couldn't bear the thought of leaving the little ones behind so lo and behold here they are vacationing on the sunny virgin island of St. Thomas. Despite the fact that they did not like being confined to a carrying case for the plane ride...they seemed to have really enjoyed the island. We thought we might have to relocate our home as you can tell Chloe has taken a major liking to the balcony over looking the Caribbean. Her days consisted of sitting on the balcony with her head resting on the bars and listening to the sound of the waves. Paris on the other hand just preferred to follow us wherever we went. If we went in she went in, if we went out she went out etc. I have to tell you I went crazy just trying to find a hotel that accepted small dogs. One hotel on the entire island allowed them...can you believe that? As you can probably guess we will be visiting that hotel again!
Hope all is well with the new pups! Best regards, Candace & Kim Paris & Chloe
(Breeder's note: You can see Paris and Chloe, Candace and Kim, enjoying St. Thomas island by turning to the Owners' Gallery page.) |

Hello-Meghan here, loving our new little angel! I'm so sorry we didn't call you when we made it home, we sat in traffic for light years but finally made it. We named her Lula and she is acclimating so well. We LOVE her sooooo incredibly much. She had her vet appointment and was so brave. Thank you so much for all the divine love. Much love,
Meghan |

Yvonne,
Honey is going to fit right in. When she came home I fed her the baby food from a spoon so she would get used to me. She seemed to trust me a little after that. I took her out of her crate and she was shaking a little. After about 5 minutes she stopped and now she just wants to be held. They are very curious about each other. I think they (word missing) each other all ready. It's almost 2 am, I'm ready for bed, I'm going to bring her to bed with us and see how she does.
I will send pictures tomorrow, hopefully Honey and Sadie will give me some good shots.
Your right she is very sweet and lovable.
I will be in touch.
Thanks again, Patty
(Breeder's note: Patty purchased Mellow Honey of Daisy Lane, our red long hair 3 1/2 year old adult female...Patty already has a red long hair female, Sadie, who resembles Honey.) |

Hi Yvonne
I finally am sending you images of our sweet Bruiser (now that he is 2!). One is of our daughter Devon & Bruiser and the second is just the little guy by himself (he weighs a little over 3 pounds, but don’t tell him that!). & yes he has a pink collar and all of his sweaters are pink too, but our daughter says he is color blind and does not know.
Hope all is well with you.
Take care, Karen |

Hi Yvonne,
Enrique and I are having so much fun with Joey! He is great! The first couple of days were a little hard for him but he adjusted right away. He is such a playful little guy. I miss him every day when I am away at work and I can't wait to get back home to him. His nails are getting long. We tried to clip them but he was very squirmy and he wouldn't let us. I don't think he liked it very much. I think we only clipped like two of them. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to clip them?
Tatiana
(Breeder's note: handle your pup's feet while on your lap, at play, etc., and get the pup used to your touching his, or her, feet before you tackle clipping nails. Two people usually find it easier if working together, one holding, one in front doing the clipping.) |

|
Hello Yvonne!
Just wanted to send you some pictures of our girl. She is happy and healthy and already weighs 4 1/2 pounds. Thank you again for this wonderful addition to our family. Keep in touch, probably will be looking for another pup in about two years.

Here's his first photo...he's already getting brave and is keeping the world safe from blankets. I love him so much, it's hard to put him down. But I do so he can learn to socialize. But not for too long!! Thanks again, Amanda

Hi Yvonne, We got back just fine. The puppy (Louie) did great in the car. The kids took good care of him. He ate a little baby food and some dry kibble. He is very sweet. He didn't make a peep until he saw my cat. He gave a little growl and the cat went outside. My lab didn't seem to pay much attention to him. Now Louie is resting on the bed with Emma. He looks like a king. Thanks for everything. Mary
P.S. Sam loves him so much, too and is so cute with him, I might have to save my pennies and come back for another soon.

Hi Yvonne,
We got home at 7pm this evening. Lucy and Lady are doing good. She has taken to our house pretty quickly. Already drinking water and eating ... playing with her toys, and chasing Lucy around. Lucy barks at her, but in a friendly way, and then Lady will chase her around because Lucy will bark right in her ears...probably getting annoying. Lady is a very lovely dog, very loving already...giving kisses. I think Lucy is a little jealous, because Lady wants to be right with us. I'll send you some more pictures when I get my film developed. Lady didn't get car sick either...she slept the whole time on my lap...what a cutie. Will talk to you later...Thanks again...Kara and Simon

Hi,
It's been awhile since we have had contact. I hope you remember me, my name is Kara. My husband and I purchased a beautiful white little girl (#DL023 if I remember right) and we are so happy with her. She is the best. We think we might be ready to get her a friend. If we do end up getting another dog we would feel more comfortable dealing with you than another breeder. We have never paired up a couple of Chihuahuas and we would love to hear what you think would work best, male or female? I was leaning more towards another female but I am still open to a male. I hope all is well and we look forward to hearing from you. Oh by the way out little girl is over a year old and her name is Lucy. Thanks again Simon and Kara Bachir

Yvonne,
The pups are doing great. They are eating and drinking well too. Skinner is not sure of them, but he sharing his toys with them. I think he is a little jealous but he is getting better all the time. The family loves the pups and can't wait to hold and cuddle them. Thank you for all your help and giving me such great pups. Jennifer

Hi Yvonne!
So sorry it has taken some time to return your e-mails. We have been busy with the holidays and also our grandfathers 91st birthday! Chloe is doing great and adjusting very well. She and Paris seem to be having a lot of fun together. Paris has this notion that she is her mother. She was very over protective of the pup at our aunts house with her two other dogs. She also keeps trying to pick her up by the scruff of the neck. They play very nicely together and Chloe refuses to be pushed around! She will chase after Paris and bark at her if Paris annoys her (since Paris likes to nudge her nose into her to get attention). Thank you so much for a wonderful puppy! She has a wonderful personality and just loves giving everyone kisses. She sleeps so soundly that you can blow dry your hair next to her and she still sleeps soundly!
Thanks again! Love, Kim & Chloe/ Candace & Paris

Yvonne,
Sorry for the delay in reply. The puppies are wonderful. They made the trip like champs. It took us about 10 hours with stops for food, water & potty, but they were great. They did not whine or cry even once the entire trip. We took turns holding them and they were so happy.
We thought Molly was going to be the quite one, but she is currently winning the war of dominance over Mickey. She growls when he gets out of hand and just to let him know who is boss. Mickey is already learning his way around the house, Molley is a bit more timid about going up and down the step downs in certain rooms. They are sleeping in their crate at night waking at 3:00am and 6:00 to potty. My Mom said to thank you for how well they are already paper trained. She said she can tell what a wonderful environment they come from from how wonderful they are. It is a wonderful match all around.
My Mom and Dad only live about 10 minutes from me and I am going to go see the pups Friday.
My parents said to thank you again and that they will send pictures when they have them.
From all of us, Thank you,
Diane Slater

Hi,
I just found out two days ago that Maiko was bought by Emily after I told her about where we got Unagi! Turns out she lives close to us now that we have moved to Berkeley. So I hope that we will be getting together with them soon to let Unagi meet his little sister! I am very excited about it! And looking at your site makes me want a third one. But we don't have the space for another. But they are so cute!
Thanks again for everything!
Scotty, Nicholas, Chandler, and Unagi!

Teapo is doing great he was a very good boy in the car and he has been eating, drinking and running all over the house. Will send pictures. Thank you so much

Yvonne,
Dash is just DARLING and is the perfect addition to our family! Most of all thank you for all of your advice and care.
Throughout the 2 1/2 hour ride home, he was perfectly fine, he did not show any kind of car sickness; Dash was napping for good 20 mins. At first, we really worried about the bleeding, but you assured us that it was nothing major, it eventually stopped shortly after talking to you.* As matter of fact, he is sleeping right now after he had an ACCIDENT on my son's fuzzy blanket (He sure was comfortable there ). Right now he isn't really eating much; he won't eat out of his bowl so we had to feed him with a spoon, but he seems like he is doing well!
Again, thank you and we are very happy that we have a little Dash with us.
Julie
*Breeder's remark: The bleeding was from a toenail trimmed too short. |

Hi Yvonne,
We think of you all the time and want to let you know how Cookie is doing. She started playing fetch the first week we had her home, then learned to sit, crawl, & lay. Fetch is her favorite game. It has been easy to potty train her, she loves her dry dog food (she never would eat it moistened). She naps a lot, then plays with toys, loves her blankies, music, and being snuggled, she gets tons of kisses and loves to give 'em back, and gets in her travel tote when it is time to go. Right now she weighs 3 pounds, 14 oz. and has lots of freckles on her chest and tummy. We wanted you to see how cute she is and how much she has grown.
Cookie is so sweet and we love her so much.
God bless, Joni |

Hi Yvonne,
We arrived home a few hours ago. Lucy is settling in just fine, she's getting use to her new surroundings. She was shy at first, but now she has become more playful. I'll sent some Christmas pics of her when we take some cute ones.
Thanks again,
Kara

Dear Yvonne,
Our little fawn female chihuahua is doing great. We have decided to name her "Pixie" (like yours!) She is eating and sleeping well and we just love her. She loves riding in the car and enjoys her carry bag. We couldn't be happier.
She goes to the vet tomorrow for her next vaccine and the vet asked us to ask you if any of her parents or grandparents have had a bad reaction to any vaccine, including leptospirosis. There have been 2 cases of leptospirosis in our area so we need to decide if we want her to have this vaccine or not.
We will be sending you photos as she gets bigger. She is just perfect.
Thanks,
Andrea

I'm so excited...I'm counting the minutes until we can leave to go to the airport. She has chenile sweaters, a baby blanket, baby food, water, dry food, as well as Nutri-Cal to help with the hypoglycemia if she needs it all awaiting her arrival.
Do they still give puppies a tranquilizer type pill to calm them for the ride?
I will e-mail as soon as we get home.
Thanks again!
Candace

"Paris" has arrived!
We picked her up and all is well. She ate all the baby food and is very affectionate to everyone.
Thanks again for a great puppy! I will send some pics of her soon!!!!

Sadie arrived safe and sound, a little scared and cold but she's fine now. We just love her.
Thanks,

We are glad that you like the pictures. We aren't too sure exactly when his color changed, it has been gradual. He actually still has quite a bit of blue on his back and tail, so I guess he's tricolored. He is just so sweet, and he is such a kisser! Do you have any tips on housebreaking? We are remodeling our kitchen and have moved some walls. With all this and the rain, Riley has decided that paper is best for pooping. He'll gladly go outside and pee but then comes in and poops on the paper. I'm hoping that when all the work is done and he finally has a doggy door all his own, he'll then get the routine. Despite this minor problem we still love him immensely. Thanks so much for selling us Riley — he has not only given us joy but has given our poodle a great playmate.

Hi Yvonne,
We wanted to update you on our adorable little female fawn Chihuahua "Pixie". We picked her up just after Thanksgiving and have had the greatest time with her ever since. I'm sorry it has taken us so long to get back to you....but we have been busy taking care of her! She loves to ride in the car, ride in her bag on my shoulder (just like I wanted), likes to take walks-even hikes and LOVES to get under the covers in the morning with us. She just turned 5 months old and weighed in at 2.5 lbs at 4 months. She is a very dainty little lady and we just love her to death. She got through all her shots without any reactions including the lepto that we decided to let the vet give her after much hesitation. My husband and I have signed up for puppy classes to get her used to other dogs and to help us train her correctly.
Thank you so much for this little wonder. She has added so much to our lives.
Best regards,
Andi and Thierry

Hi Yvonne,
We wanted to give you a little update on Cookie. When we left your place she went to sleep right away on Heidi's lap. We stopped on the road to give Cookie some water and she went potty for us by the roadside in the grass. Then when we got home we drove next door so my parents could see her and my grandfather, who lives with them, and my sister, who was here for a weekend visit. They loved her and Cookie didn't seem to mind that strangers were saying how cute she was. hehe She is so darling and has a great personality. My husband rocked her to sleep in the rocking chair. She likes her blankie. The girls took her potty again in the grass/dirt fenced area, and fed her, and she filled up on water as well. Just awhile ago they were thrilled that she went potty and poopy for them in her fenced area about 9pm. They just informed me that she is showing off playing all over the living room floor and loves her toys. She is going to bring so much joy to our lives and we couldn't be more pleased with her. You give your dogs special care and it shows. I would highly recommend you to anyone, as it is rare to find a breeder who raises them in the home, gives them attention, training, high quality nutrition, pamplets, literature, a gift bag, great emails and most important love. She loves her sqeaky pink bunny that you sent with her. It was so great meeting you today, and we want to thank you once again for the sweet little puppy. Cookie is going to have a ton of love. We will send photos when we can and keep you posted on Cookie. I gotta go and have some play time with the girls.
Thanks and God bless you,
Joni

Hi Yvonne,
We made it home all safe and sound. Maggie did get a little car sick. She got up this morning, ate a good breakfast, and was ready to play. She will fit in with our family perfectly.
Thank you for all of your help,
Teri

Hello Yvonne,
It was very nice meeting you on Friday thank you for your hospitality. Xuxa and Quqa are doing great. The urine scald you mentioned is very slight on Xuxa and should clear up soon. Thanks for the heads up on that. They went to their first Vet visit with flying colors.
Take care, I'll keep you up to date,

Morning Yvonne!
All went well, he is home all by himself for the first time today! :o\ I'm hoping I don't come home to a complete mess! But oh well, he'll learn and so will I. We bonded all weekend long, he does really well going out and in the car...I'm glad! He's been sleeping with me most of the night, I get up every 2-4 hours and take him to the bathroom and see if he wants water. I got a timed feeder for mid day feedings which works out great! His appetite is fine...he's in good hands! I just hope I can manage the patience to get through all the training. Any suggestions? I bought a crate as well. And yes, I have a name! His name is Carson! Do you ever watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? Well, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Carson! He has the best one liners and his eyes are blue too! :o) Anyway, just arrived to work, going to get started and get some coffee! Thank you...any feedback/suggestions would be most helpful. I'll take some photo's for you and send them just as soon as I figure out how on my new digital camera!
Until then, take care.
Nicole

Yvonne,
How are you? We had a safe ride home with Coohee calmly laying on my lap. Coohee has been drinking some water in the car. She seemed very frighten in the new env initially then was trying to find a safe spot to sleep (under the shoe rack with shoe's around her. If I sit on the ground, she would come to me and lay on the ground with one side of her body against my feet. She doesn't like to walk a lot at this moment. And she has not been eating since she arrived home 3 hours ago. She has been sleeping in her bed and wake up once in a while when she hear any noise. I try to feed her by finger with a touch of baby food you gave me...she doesn't seems to be very interested, lick my finger a few time then when I try to give her a bit more, she would turn away. Same thing for honey. She has been sleeping calmly. I think she might be tired from the road trip.
Anyway, I will bring her to the Vet tomorrow morning for her physical check up. Let me know what her normal activities used to be like when she was with you. Does she bark a lot? Or not at all? By the way, thanks for all the wonderful package you've given me and the piggy that has Rosey's scent. I think she's feeling more used to the piggy then anything else that I give her. She doesn't show much interest yet. She is just so adorable and cute :)
Thanks,
Vanessa

Hi Yvonne,
Tippy is doing great! I can't say enough nice things about her. She has a wonderful personality, and she's a very smart little dog. Her coat has turned a little darker on her back, and her ears stand up now. She has little freckles on her neck, and belly- sooo cute!
She was timid first, but she's coming out of her shell. We bought a great dane sized kennel for her to sleep in, and she really likes it in there. She learned how to use the litter box almost immediately! (the other dog uses one too- they don't seem to be able to make it all night without one)
She gets along wonderfully with our other dog, (Syrus). They play wrestle all day long, and are best friends. At night they both curl up, and lay on whoever is on he couch. It's funny to watch their "sibling rivalry," if one of them is playing with a toy, the other has to have it, and a friendly battle ensues. She has no trouble letting Syrus know when he's bothering her too much. They're inseparable.
They like to patrol the yard for anything "suspicious", and bark continuously. Together they make a great pair of mischievous watch-dogs!
We take pictures of them all the time, but we haven't put them on line yet. When we have a new photo album, I'll email it to you.
I'm so glad that she's a part of our family!
Thank you so much!
Jessica

Yvonne - Belle is doing great! She is eating often, although still not drinking much. She's been playing and bouncing around all day! We bought her a couple tiny toys and she seems to like them. I'll keep you posted on her progress.

Hello Yvonne,
Lilo is home safely and is walking around the house. He was nervous when I picked him up at the airport, but I pulled over and gave him a little honey and some baby beef and he licked my finger and ate a little baby beef. He rode home in my lap, now it's bed time and I think he wants to be in the bed, so that's where he will sleep tonight. I will keep in touch.
Thanks again,
Jacqueline

Yvonne,
Lilo has adjusted nicely. He is so much fun and he loves to play. He sleeps in my room under my side table in his bed of course, along with his toys. He's using the paper in the kitchen to do his business. He's a smart little boy. He's spoiled already.
He loves being outside and follows me around. He will be going to the vet on March 27. He eats all day like you said. My family loves him very much, and I take him everywhere I go in his bag. He's so adorable. I've started to train him to come and sit.
I will look for the papers in the mail.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Yvonne,
Cookie is doing great. She is a little doll, very sweet personality, and smart too. This morning she played happily all over the house with us and with some of her toys. She goes potty great, eats well, and is a joy to have around. She gets rocked to sleep sometimes or lays on our laps, up by our neck, or beside us. She is in one of her little beds right now with her blanket.
Yes, Parvo is a bad one, and we will be extra careful with her. She is only going to be going potty at our house and in her little designated spot that is fenced in just for her. Our main property is fenced all around it with a tall fence.
Cookie was sleeping on my lap this morning while I checked my ebay and surfed the internet. We were so surprised that she traveled so well yesterday, without getting sick. She slept almost the entire ride. We are being careful not to get her chilled, as it got cold last night. We carry her outside, put her in her play-yard/potty zone and in about 20 seconds she goes potty, then inside we carry her warm her in her blankie. She gets food and water, then Heidi holds her til she goes to sleep, then puts her in her crate until we repeat again. It is now playtime, so I am going to go play with her. She is such a sweet blessing. We will keep you posted on her progress,
Take care and God bless,
Joni

Hi Yvonne,
Hi. Just wanted to thank you for the extra help tonight. After I talked to you last I actually got her to eat some of the Eukanuba mash as well, so she should be pretty full by now. She is now sleeping peacefully, and I am about to join her.
I'll be in touch again soon. Love,
Emily

Hi Yvonne,
Little Maiko is asleep in her kennel. She is doing very well now. The first few days were a little tough and she seemed really scared of everything, but she is getting her bearings and is eating and playing a lot more now. My friend has a Boston Terrier pup who is the same age as her and they've been playing together. She's also met lots of different people, and though she's shy, they all think that she's the sweetest Chihuahua they've ever seen! I took her to the vet today. Everything was good. The only thing that the vet noticed is that she has a slight underbite, so I'll have to be careful to care for her teeth.
I will send you some pictures soon--once I figure out how to upload them on to the computer.
Thanks, and I'll write again.
Take care,
Emily

Yvonne - We celebrated Belle's first birthday about a month ago. She is such a sweetheart! Always playful and rambunctious. We have enjoyed her so much this year, we are even thinking of getting her a playmate. Thank you for the help and for providing us with the opportunity to adopt such a cutie
She has been all we hoped for! Rest assured that she is well and loved!
