This contract covers your newly purchased puppy described below. We are not responsible for any associated charges such as veterinary fees, etc.

General Terms and Conditions
  • We guarantee puppies to be healthy at time of purchase.
     
  • Buyer should take puppy to their veterinarian within 48 hours (2 working days) for a general health checkup.
     
  • If any life threatening health problems are found at the time of this initial veterinarian examination, buyer must contact Daisy Lane Kennels immediately. A written statement from the veterinarian will be required.
     
  • All medications and immunizations stated on the pets medical record are given at Daisy Lane Kennels, with the exception of a rabies vaccine. We are not responsible should your veterinarian desregard the pups medical record causing an overload of vaccines, which can make the puppy sick. Please have your vet call me at 1-707-279-1689.
     
  • We guarantee against any serious genetic defects: i.e., heart, lungs, kidneys, up to six months of age. NO WARRANTY IS GIVEN FOR PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH HYPOGLYCEMIA.
     
  • If, during this six month period, your puppy should succumb from any genetic problem, an autopsy from a State veterinary lab is required for replacement of the puppy.
     
  • No return of puppy due to incompatibility, allergies, or landlord disputes will be accepted. Sorry, NO EXCEPTIONS.
     
  • No Cash Refund Will Be Made.
     
  • Deposits and purchase price on Chihuahuas are non-refundable.
     
  • We do not guarantee you will be able to show or breed your Chihuahua.
     
  • Although we try to predict grown size and color, we do not guarantee either.
     
     
  • Our puppies are registered with AKC (and on occasion with CKC or APRI), but we cannot guarantee the ability to register puppies for reasons beyond our control.
     
  • Should you need to return your pup for reasons stated above, you must present this signed contract, all registration papers and pedigrees, to us. You must sign any and all papers necessary to transfer ownership back to us.
     
  • Shipment of puppies by air carrier is at the risk of the Buyer. All precautions will be taken to assure that your puppy is properly crated and cared for, but we are not responsible for unforeseen occurences on the part of the air carrier, air carrier personnel or airport handlers.
     
  • Additional Important Information: Daisy Lane Chihuahuas are available to approved homes only, preferably to those with no young children (10 years of age and under). Our Chihuahuas are AKC, CKC OR APRI registered. Once the puppy is old enough to be evaluated and priced, a deposit of $300.00 will hold the puppy of your choice. The balance is due in full before delivery of the puppy will be made. We accept PayPal, cashier's check or money order only. No Personal checks please. We ship by air only, at buyer's expense. You will receive a courtesy shipping crate and necessary items, together with health certificate, AKC, CKC or APRI registration form as applicable, and puppy instructions. A standard charge of $345.00 (USD $375 to Canada), sorry - air fuel & gas price increases - willl be added to the cost of the Chihuahua to cover flight cost, time, effort, travel to the airport, bridge tolls and parking fees associated in the preparation and arrangment of shipping.
                         When using credit card add 3% to the amount being paid to help defray PayPal user fees.
 
THIS WRITTEN CONTRACT IS THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SELLER AND THE BUYER REGARDING THE STATE OF HEALTH, PHYSICAL CONDITION AND/OR LOSS OF THE ANIMAL DESCRIBED ABOVE. BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM THE BUYER ACKNOWLEDGES HE/SHE HAS READ, UNDERSTANDS AND ACCEPTS THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS STATED ABOVE.
